What to Expect

Welcome to The Baptist Chapel Website!  We hope you have already enjoyed exploring our Web Site and now want to visit The Baptist Chapel. We would love to see you.

WHAT IS THE WORSHIP SERVICE LIKE?

You may sit anywhere you wish in the sanctuary. You will find friendly people who would like to get to know you, and who will answer any questions you may have. Our opening worship time will involve uplifting music from our instrumentalists and choir ranging in variety from traditional hymns of our faith to modern songs of our faith. You will hear Christ-centered sermons. We use multi-media to project announcements, song lyrics, scripture text, and sermon topics. Bibles and hymnals are also provided on each pew.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You will see a wide variety of dress during morning and evening services on Sunday and Wednesday. There is no required dress code, so you will be welcomed dressed as you are.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY CHILDREN?

Nursery is provided during all services for infants and toddlers until fully potty-trained in the education building. Our Children’s Ministry has Sunday School class at 10:00 am and Children’s Chapel at 11:00 am in the education building for children who are potty-trained up through 6th grade Sunday mornings. Our Youth meet on Sunday in the education building at 10:00 am for Sunday School and 5:00 pm for Teenage Baptist Training Course (7-12 grade).   Our Youth and Children’s Ministries meet on Wednesday in the education building at 6:00 pm for Discovery Bible Clubs (Kindergarten-6th grade) and Teen Discovery (7-12 grade).

WHERE DO I GO?

When you arrive and turn into our church parking lot off of Old Pascagoula Road, you will see handicap and visitor parking straight ahead in the main parking lot. You will be welcomed by the church family and directed to our sanctuary, classrooms, and children’s care areas. You will also be given a visitor’s folder and small gift to thank you for sharing your time with us. We know you have many choices of worship, and we appreciate your choosing The Baptist Chapel.
